David Richardson leads Ste. Michelle Wine Estates as a visionary, growth‑focused Chief Executive Officer poised to accelerate the company’s momentum and guide it into the next chapter of its storied 90‑year history.

With more than four decades of leadership across global food, agriculture, and supply‑chain organizations, he brings a rare blend of operational excellence, agricultural expertise, and a collaborative leadership style that strengthens culture and drives long‑term value creation.

Before joining Ste. Michelle in 2026, David served as President, CEO, and co‑founder of NewCold Cooperative, where he developed and operated large‑scale automated cold chain networks across Europe, North America, and Oceania. Prior to that, he spent more than two decades in senior leadership roles at Lamb Weston/ConAgra Foods, including CFO and Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy. His career also includes leadership and board roles with Grimmway Enterprises, Tree Top, Power Logistics, and the Bank of California.

A longtime Washington resident, David has deep familiarity with the Columbia Valley and a strong appreciation for the vineyards, growers, and winemaking excellence that define the enduring wine brands of Washington.
